All Republicans need Democratic votes to win the Presidential election cause there are more registered Democrats than Republicans on a national level. To be a Democrat is to believe in the rights and protections of the working man and woman vs the business backing that is supported by the Republicans. If you're a employee you should be a Democrat; if you're a employer you should be a Republican. If you are voting for your own best interest. The Christian Coalition has sold their soul to the Republican party and the Republicans have become the paid whore of the religious right. Unfortunately, there is nothing "Christian" about any of it. Politics is about money and power which is not what the teachings of Christ pointed at as meaninful and desirable. The Republicans hook up with the Christian Co cause they are good for votes. I have been to their churches and they are bigots and they do talk politics from the pulpit. They strongly encourage you to vote Republican. Heck, in the SOuth, many of the polling places are churches!!! I did hear a minister call the Pope a false prophet and I also have heard how they would love to affect schools with prayer. They are so against evolution they home school their kids to keep them from that theory. Some keep their female children from sports cause they are afraid it will sway them toward lesbianism!!!!!!!! They mean to change the world and mold it to their own interpretation of the Bible. If you don't think that's scary, read yourself a few books from the Old Testament. If you believe in religious freedom, you need to stop these people from forcing their judgment down your throat and into your personal life I will not vote for any Republican until they separate from these zealots. McCain does show some promise and for the sake of the Republican Party, I hope they can learn to separate themselves from Pat Robertson and his cult..
