Harold, speaking of earnings time, the old rule I used to follow was waiting a week after earnings until the momentum players got out of the stock is one that has cost me a few times. It works in a fast climbing market, but in horizontal or negative markets, it is best to wait a few days after earnings - this area I need to listen to my old rule of thumb more. JAKK for example looked fantastic (although I already held) I would have been better off letting it go at $22 than holding back to $16 again.

We live and learn and then learn we haven't lived long enough to learn enough. LOL
