I've thought about it a bit more, and determining where this might end is a difficult issue. There's a lot that goes on on the ice in the average NHL game that could be considered a criminal act.
That doesn't change my feeling that, as Brad May said, McSorley "should have the book thrown at him".
I think he should be out three times as long as Brashear. If Brashear misses 10 weeks of playing time, McSorley should get hit for 30 weeks.
