Maybe Intel's just got a lot of RMBS stock. It could come in handy if earnings come up short. Might be a fine short term strategy. Technically, I'll repeat: BX upgrade to 133 FSB/ PC133, a killer that could be on the market any moment, if Intel felt like it. If they got any brains at all, and I think they do, the engineering's all done anyway, it has to be minimal compared to all the Rambus travail, and Intel's a big company that can easily afford a backup strategy. It wouldn't fix cumine production, of course. . . Or maybe you're right about the mole, they sure seem to be intent on doing AMD a big favor here. The mole must be really high up, though.
