I've been keeping some tabulated data on the SPX since last Fall's bottom. I'm trying to discern weekly patterns, as well as lunar patterns.

From the beginning of the data on 10/18, I've summed up the gains or losses for each Full Moon to New Moon cycle and vice-versa.

Prior to this month, every New Moon to Full Moon period has been positive (3 of 3). This recent NM to FM period was negative (by a large amount).

Oddly enough, every Full Moon to New Moon period in the data was negative, excepting the first period from 10/22 to 11/8. Which was the first bullish cycle.

This recent negative NM to FM period is likely signalling the beginning of a bearish cycle. If prior data repeats, the current FM to NM cycle should be another quite negative one, followed by a slightly positive NM to FM cycle.

Regards,
TW

PS- The weekly cycle for the last 4 weeks has been UP into Tuesday and down into friday. (the monday holiday may skew it to the right this week, however)
