Electric Fuel shares soar on US program

JERUSALEM (February 23) - Shares in Electric Fuel
Ltd. rose more than 34 percent to $13.75 in early
Nasdaq trading yesterday after the Beit Shemesh
company announced that its zinc-air battery technology
would be used in tests on urban buses co-sponsored by
the National Infrastructure Ministry and the US
Department of Energy.
