SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2000-- Compel, LLC today announced a design/build agreement with EarthLink, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELNKD - news), the nation's second largest Internet Service Provider (ISP). Under the partnership agreement, Compel will help design and implement the cabling infrastructure at EarthLink's new Harrisburg, Pa. facility.

The design/build plan calls for the installment of high-speed Ber-Tek Landmark 350 cabling in the 100,000 square foot building, and provides for design sampling and installation of a Panduit 350 megahertz with a 25-year manufacturer's warranty. In addition, Compel is working closely with EarthLink to upgrade and enhance additional facilities in Atlanta and Phoenix by 2002.

``Compel was chosen for this project based on their broad understanding of Internet business as it relates to data communication,' said Jim Moore, director of LAN Services at EarthLink. ``Not only have our needs been met entirely through their 24x7 dedication to us, but they've also worked on an accelerated, fast-track schedule without missing a single deadline.'
