George, could it be that the puppets are growing a spine? Goodness gracious, me! Please note the utterly venomous sarcasm and derision directed towards our very own President, one William Jefferson Clinton:

Ahead of the meeting, an Emirati newspaper accused Washington which is sending its Energy Secretary Bill Richardson to the region on a price-curbing mission of having "disturbed" the oil market. "The United States must recognize that they have disturbed the market," Al-Ittihad said, referring to US President Bill Clinton's warning that the tripling of oil prices over the past year could weaken the global economy.

I guess Mr. Clinton's statements and his energy secretary aren't going over well in the Gulf States? "United stand"? Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Doesn't seem as though the Mexicans are in that much of a Kow Towing mood either. BWDIK.

If there is an April increase, "it will be done very carefully, in relatively small amounts, to see what happens in the market," Tellez told a radio station on Tuesday.

"Mexico believes very strongly in reaching a consensus among all oil producing nations, and will not take any unilateral measures or unilateral decisions," Andres Antonius, Tellez's chief of staff, told Reuters.
