Thanks for the MPPP article. I don't know what terms an artist would get using traditional marketing/distribution deals, but I suspect the mp3.com route could work well. Hire a great web site designer, a marketing firm, pay mp3.com something, and let those who want the tunes just help themselves (w/ a credit card of course).
