Not much help on bonds I fear. But I do think that political uncertainty can shake things up a bit. Aside from McCain - I thought that Gore looked quite shaken up in the debate with Braddley. Unfortunately I think machine politics will win out with the Dems - but can't help feeling that the most interesting general election for the public would be McCain vs Braddley. In Bush and Gore we have two insipid candidates - Bush in particular seems an uninspiring choice - shallow in the extreme. Having to pander to the far right - when the public seems to want less ideology.
