"Can someone closer to the inner workings of all this help me understand the effect this objx news has on edig"

I can say FOR SURE that iJam uses objx technology and has NEVER used or ever plans to use edig technology. I have confirmed this with mgt at both companies: iJam and Interactive Objects. Call iJam yourself if you do not believe.

Note that in the edig release, "e.Digital Corp. (OTCBB:EDIG - news) announced today that it has licensed its portable Internet music player design to Maycom Co. Ltd., manufacturer of the I-Jam(TM) digital MP3 player". It never said that EDIG will be used in the iJam player.

Note the OBJX release, "Feb. 23, 2000--I-Jam Multimedia LLC and Interactive Objects -- Iobjects (OTCBB:OBJX - news), jointly announce a licensing agreement for the integration of Iobjects' Personal Stereo Platform with I-Jam's next generation Digital Audio Players, the first of which will ship next quarter"

This is simple, Interactive Objects has a $150mm market cap and at least one customer. EDIG has none in the MP3 space and a $1,700mm mkt cap. So EDIG either goes to $1.50 or OBJX goes to $110. Hmmm.
