Richard in my opinion the majority of wealth in China has not infiltrated down to the people in the interior but remained pretty well in HK and Tawain.
So both sides here are in a bit of stew one is saying share the wealth the other isn't so sure they want to share anything.
People tend to take advantage of other people when dollars are involved.
China biggest problem is China which she is trying to address re education. I am getting this gut level feeling she has a few who have wealth power who are greedy as hell and using her poverty for their wealth. You see it in net stocks where they fly. They are coming out of HK. At least here a percentage of the money made on the market goes back to the general populous.
There it seems to be partitioned into areas and i have a hunch china is trying to stop the segmenting and have a ripple down to all affect.
The situation of poverty there is horrible yet theft is non existent from what i have been told. If governments are lousy people aren't.
