Where did you hear this? What about that article a week or two ago where the OEMs not only reported a shortage of Coppermines above 700 MHz, but also a shortage at 500 and 550 MHz? This would jive very well with "higher-than-expected" low-end demand that AMD is experiencing. It would also make sense considering the high popularity of the FC-PGA "Socketmine" and the 810e platform.
