I can see it...when I see 550 Mhz P-III e-machines it's a pretty good indication they are plentiful and CHEAP. Has been in the past with other speed grades and chips.
Greater availability of higher speed Coppermine notebook chips (I've seen) indicates that Intel is yielding well in the 550-650 Mhz area not to mention the 500 Mhz Celeron notebook chip(.18u). A definite improvement over last quarter. AMD is in danger of losing the notebook foothold it gained last year. They either have to get the K6-2s up on .18u or get a Spitfire/notebook in the works very soon.
