Tony: Well, that may be true, though CMGI also owns NaviNet, and I can see CMGI leveraging SOFN and NaviNet together for a powerful offering. NaviNet, BTW, provides the dial up access for 1stUp (another CMGI company offering free access to others), and to NZRO. Catherine's comments took a big part of my arguement out though. Anyways, I'm certainly not worried about SOFN going forward, on its own or not. With Japan, PCCLF in the rest of Asia, Latin America, Europe, etc... no fear whatsoever. My feeling on the stock price is that there is uncertainity about the success of SoftNet Zones, plus a little puzzlement in what will happen w/ PCCLF after a likely HKT merger. My belief is that both HKT and SOFN will be vital for PCCLF, as they are looking to expand as fast as possible... but the market is a little bit worried. No fear here. - Zen |
