I've been tracking FGH since the merger. I almost purchased this stock until I read the interview between JL and Offshore Drilling Bits. I wasn't convinced JL was telling it all and I've been waiting to see where the bad news ends and the good news starts. I'm of the opinion that looking out six months isn't going to be enough. I'm not trying to offend anyone, I'm just sharing an opinion because you asked for one. If FGH is going to continue with missing completion schedules and going over budget, why would anyone want to continue giving them their business? As much as I hate to say it, my business would have to go to Korea. These drillers have tons of money at stake. PDE needs those drillships as they would bring in about 200K per day each. The perception amongst the brokerage houses is that FGH ain't getting it. I listened to RIG's conference call and their CEO said he didn't expect any new deepwater rigs to be built in 2000 or 2001. That isn't good either for FGH. They need the "big" contracts. They're not a discount ship builder. Ycdv, the news on this one continues to to bad and continues to come. When will it end?
