PanAmerican BanCorp has closed the books for the year ending 1/31/00. The Form 10 S-B process is progressing and, after reviewing for accuracy, we hope to have it completed this week.
Turning our focus toward revenues and growth, we are looking to achieve controllable, sustainable growth. These initiatives will be carried throughout all levels of the Company and continue throughout the year.
The plans for KeyStates are almost complete. We have new personnel ready to come on board and have several exciting opportunities opening before us. I believe Ken Christian is readying KeyStates to take its place in the forefront of banking, mortgages and related services.
Possibly the most activity is going on around Insider Trading. We are negotiating with several companies with an eye toward acquisition. We have new people to lead Insider Trading into the next wave of day trading, online trading, training and education and much more. We are also seeking to bring new assets under management. Look for exciting news soon.
PanAmerican is continuing its international endeavors in Argentina. Representatives from Buenos Aires have just finished a weeklong indoctrination at our Hauppauge headquarters. We had others join us from our various divisions world wide last week that culminated in a dynamic exchange of ideas and opportunities.
ourEvillage.com is growing, with its first editions getting ready to roll out. We have adopted a three phase strategic plan for the launching of ourEvillage.com. The three phases consist of :
1. Building a network of Independent Marketing Consultants - It is important to establish local representation so that we can generate a sufficient base of advertisers and create site awareness within the community. We will aggressively build a national network of Independent Marketing Consultants and launch a local edition of ourEvillage.com in conjunction with our geographic representation.
2. Pre-launch sales of advertising to local businesses and establishing relationships with not-for-profit organizations - It is standard procedure for any advertising media to secure sales commitments prior to an inaugural launch date.
3. Official launch of a local edition - Once phases one and two are completely satisfied, a local edition will be launched.
This three phase strategy will ensure that a local edition has all the necessary components in place prior to the edition going "live".
ourEvillage.com Foundation is planning its first scholarship awards for Long Island. The next phase for the schools will be a district competition with awards for achievements in Internet such as web designs, graphics, etc. The Foundation will announce its schedule in the near future.
On-going construction of the site continues as our in-house web designers and graphic artists are now applying the finishing touches on a dynamic new look to be rolled out.
Keep checking the web sites for details about ourEvillage.com and for updates on the status of other PanAmerican BanCorp opportunities.
Look for growth, expansion and new ideas from PanAmerican throughout the year. panambancorp.com |
