Toshiba plans ramp-up in flash production.

This is another release of the same, but now with the SanDisk reference!!!

techweb.com

Toshiba's Dominion Semiconductor LLC in Manassas, Va., will be another base for flash memory production. Toshiba and SanDisk Corp. announced last October that they will jointly manufacture NAND flash memory at Module 2 of the Dominion fab. The companies will establish a joint-venture and spend about $400 million to lease equipment for the Module 2 fabrication line. The companies' total investment will be about $700 million, shared by the two partners. SanDisk will consume half the output of Dominion's flash output.
