Eric,

A single click does nothing. A double click (or a right click) enters a trade. I want to simply be able to set the price. Likely both qcharts and cyberx would need changing for this to happen.

You might be interested in trying out our CyBerX 1.6 version, which is currently in Beta. With the most recent Beta version of CyBerX 1.6, which will be available tonight, you will be able to double click on the QchartsL2 and this will load the price and stock into your CyBerX. It will not, however, route out an order, which is what you are currently experiencing. We hope this will be a more user-friendly function. If you are interested in trying out our CyBerX 1.6 Beta, please contact our Trader Support Department.

Does an uptick really need to be 1/16? I've had several times where the ask is only 1/32 over the bid and I cannot place a short at the ask.

To answer your question, yes, the short offer price must be 1/16th above the inside bid. This is an NASD rule. Let us know if you have any additional questions or if we can be of any further assistance.

Sincerely,
