It's obvious that some negative posters here don't work in the private sector. What artist will GIVE AWAY their music for free via MP3, etc. when they will be getting a piece of the distribution channel pie. The only artists giving their music away will be the groups/artists that no one wants to hear. Duh. That's what is taking so long, dividing up the portions of a huge pie, and that pie will be huge (Worldwide). If it was so easy, SDMI would have standards by now (1 year +), but it IS getting ever so closer. Tick...Tick...Tick.... Better cover soon, because EDIG has very little downside from here.
