I-Jam Multimedia LLC Announces Contract with Interactive Objects, Inc.

BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb 23, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- I-Jam Multimedia LLC
and Interactive Objects -- Iobjects (OTCBB:OBJX), jointly announce a
licensing agreement for the integration of Iobjects' Personal Stereo
Platform with I-Jam's next generation Digital Audio Players, the first
of which will ship next quarter.

Under the terms of this agreement, Iobjects will collaborate with I-Jam
Multimedia on a series of Digital Audio Players that will be optimized
for the Microsoft Windows Media Audio (WMA) codec.

A Combination of Leaders

"We selected Iobjects due to their vision and technical expertise.
They've engineered a very thin, but functionally rich, environment to
drive our new line of players, while taking future requirements like
SDMI into account," said Doug Marrison, President of I-Jam. Mark
Phillips, Chief Technology Officer for Interactive Objects, said,
"I-Jam's Business is moving at Internet Speed. I have been impressed by
their insight, and am delighted to be working with them."

SDMI Compliance with WMA

By supporting WMA, Iobjects' Platform will give I-Jam a strong edge
on the competition in the race to provide the music industry with an
SDMI compliant digital audio player. The Secure Digital Music
Initiative (SDMI) has tremendous support throughout the music industry
for attempting to address the recent and dramatic increase in online
music piracy.

"I-Jam has demonstrated a keen ability for predicting the desires and
demands of this market, a skill which has made them the second leading
shipper of Digital Audio Players," said Kelly Wood, Director of
Business Development for Iobjects. "The Recording Industry needs to
protect their property. By collaborating on a new line of Digital Audio
Players that support WMA, this agreement is a good first step in
providing the industry with this protection against copyright
infringement."

Next-Generation Technology

Based on Iobjects' Portable Stereo Reference Design, this player will
use the Multi-Media Card (MMC), the portable memory format of choice
and one of the many formats that Iobjects' Platform supports.
Furthermore, these players will include support for USB and run Cirrus
Logic's Maverick System-on-a-Chip.
Combined, these qualities will
propel I-Jam's next line of Digital Audio Players into the new
millennium, with the potential to leapfrog the competition.

In Conclusion

Y.O. Leung, Vice President of Product Development, of I-Jam
summarized it this way, "Interactive Objects has provided an elegant
digital audio solution, one which provides consumers with the
functionality they require, while simultaneously giving the customers
of I-Jam products a consistent audio experience. In addition, we
believe that by working closely with Iobjects' Development Team, this
next-generation of Digital Audio Players will overcome many of the
other limitations currently encountered by today's technology."
