PAT:
I have said it a few times before, but once again, many thanks for your consistently well-informed, excellent participation.
I share your concern about the fact that maybe management is not being 100% straight with shareholders. If I contrast how this company behaves in that context relative to a company like CYMI (for example), there is no comparison. The Cymer people are very crisp, clear, focused, communicative and give you every reason for confidence.
The MRVC people are secretive (relatively), obscure in their communications, and do not by any means always deliver on what is assumed to be their commitments. On the other hand their commitments are sufficiently vague that maybe they never intended to!
HOWEVER, I believe they have a VISION of what they want to do, and are in fact putting the pieces together. WHETHER those pieces will actually come together remains to be seen.
I personally believe there is still huge upside in this stock, presently still exceeding its downside potential significantly. But we are now in the fiber optics momentum play, and the market play itself is around the STORY.
HOWEVER, if the story does not come to pass in a fairly short period of time (specifically IPO's) then when major players start bailing out it will not be pretty.
Please stay in the picture if you can. You may want to jump back in at a suitable point.
Or you may be delighted not to be in MRVC.
Either way, we value your participation-- a lot!
Best wishes, Jim |
