Yes John - I remember you - hope your doing OK. Gentlemen - NIR always did look good. Just look at the product lines, the strategic direction the company had laid out, the acquisitions - the niche that needed to be filled - the interest from ICI,...

One thing I've learned is that it can take a tad longer than we would like for a stock to really develop and show strength.

At least for now NIR has a far more solid foundation that it did two years ago. I suspect that there will be up's and down's along the way, but it does appear to be a good long term hold. I also wouldn't hesitate to take some profits along the way - which I didn't do as frequently as I should have - lesson learned there.

FWIW - two others I'm holding are MSGI and SBAS - both look good over the next several months.

I also held ISCO a good while back - amazing what it's done over the last couple of months. However, that was more risky and I never held a big position. Those that stayed in were more lucky than anything else - with the top three guys being replaced last November. I wouldn't buy it now - gone up too much, too fast - but out of interest I'll continue to follow it and see how it does.

I trade less these days and prefer to hold what I consider to be undervalued stocks with good prospects - so I look more towards fundamentals, strength of the market that the stock is in, strength of the management team, etc. If those components are good then the stock price up's and down's aren't that much of a concern - as long as the overall trend is up.

David :)
