It's always a question if it is PR-466 or 466 MHz. If Via can yield 466 MHz parts, the entire K6 line is in danger.

We have not seen any benchmarks, but I guess that Joshua at 466 MHz would blow out of the water (performance wise) the entire K6 line including K6-III.

The positive (for AMD) is that Via said it will be a month before we will see any chips from them. Also, it will take time to ramp up production, for boxmakers to get the new boxes ready. And by the time Via is ready to compete, AMD should have the Spitfire out, which should outperform Joshua, with it's ability to run at faster clock speeds.
