Palomar's response to MEHL/Biophile's press release came at about 4:30 PM:

prnewswire.com

The laser hair removal patent dispute remains unresolved, for now.

I have read both the MGH patent and the Zaias patent, and found that they are
quite different from one another, so I would not be surprised if neither one will
prevail over the other, legally.

The patent dispute is a mere sideshow to the main issue: efficacy. Thus far,
FDA does not allow claims of long-term, let alone permanent results, so laser
hair removal is temporary. Therefore, laser must show that it can successfully
compete against waxing treatments, which cost 10 to 20 times less. That seems
unlikely.
