For the life of me, I cannot figure out why a tool that can erase a lot of anguish is not used more often.. trailing stops. If the trade target is for 5 points, the first point can be "secured" with a stop, instead of outright selling the position.. I say this because I believe a traders job is to take little profits in flat/bad markets, but capitalise in good markets. Another option is sell half the position and use the stop on the rest.

When is the last time I used trailing stops.. I can't remember..<g>.
