>>Just thought I'd jump in and let you know that I was also a buyer today.<<
Well, I am extremely upset today!
No, I am not mad at someone else, nor am I mad at any company or brokerage house. Basically I am just royally pissed off at myself.
You see, I screwed up big time. Why? Well, while I was dinking around with other things over the past few days, I hadn't taken the time to free up any capital that I could have used to buy more shares when they dipped down in price today. Geeze, it was like they were on a "Blue Light Special" at KMart. When the stock hit the support line today, there was a bunch of shares just sitting there waiting to be had. I knew it was just too good to be true - DARN!!!!
In case you are wondering, I am convinced that the people that sold out today were either speculators who didn't understand what is going on here, or longer term investors who had their stop losses hit. Throw in a few smart investors who knew how to move a stock down to pick up cheaper shares, and you have the situation that played out today. On the bright side, the maximum drop the stock took today was only from a cumulative sale of just ~65,000 shares. So, it wasn't a mass panic by any stretch of the imagination. I think that the only panic that was taking place was at my house as I rushed around my portfolio to try and find some free cash to buy more shares. I seriously doubt that I (or any other informed investor) will miss out on an opportunity like this one again if it ever happens to present itself once more.
I wanted to mention that I was extremely busy today and I haven't had an opportunity to talk about the filing document and what great things I believe are buried in it. I have been looking into the updated projections on the ERP market around the world, and yes the market is enormous! I know this market - for you see, I was involved in co-leading the ERP planning, selection, and implementation efforts at my former company. If I get a chance, I will try to explain what ERP (Enterprise Relationship Planning) is, what it means to organizations, and where it is headed. Trust me, this is big stuff folks!
I loved the reference to Net Shepherd now being able to provide the next generation ERP solutions. So in case you are wondering - yes, the ramifications of this enhanced capability had me laying awake last night when I should have been sawing logs.
For the past few minutes I have been thinking up some "So you want to be a Millionaire" type questions for the boys from Net Shepherd during tomorrow's Investors' Forum. The phone number for the conference is 1 (800) 273-9672 and it is being held at 2:30 Calgary (Mountain) time. It should be a very interesting session!
Now I need to get some sleep. Talk to you tomorrow.
