Hi Don, Rember Arequipa Res ,their geologist David Lowell bucked the trend by exploringin the north of Chile and into the mountains in southern Peru and no that far from BOLIVIA. The competion for land in this area at that time was alot less than in other areas. But now their is a fantastic demand for any claims in the Arequipa area. Lowell's strategy paid off in May of 1995 with their discovery hole on the Pierina property that returned more than 88 metres grading 6.5 grams gold per tonne. Over the next two months they drilled an addiitional nine holes resulting in Barrick offering $1,000,000 to take over the company. Let's hope that GLS Global's Kimsacruz Kitani or Secunda properties contain a similar surprise. It is quite possible as these properties are in a similar geological area. The elevation is approximately the same and the initial reports of native people earning a living from the gold off these properties is also similar.
