They don't have any fabs to depreciate. If they take business at 30 points (15 point to National and 15 to Via would be my guess) the CPU can be sold profitably at $40. Without depreciation issues to worry about I don't think they will take new business if they do not make money on the CPU or, at the least, the combined CPU+Chipset business.
