(CBS.MW) -- Digital Island is expected to announce a deal with Apple computer to deploy Apple's QuickTime streaming media format on most of Digital Island's servers.
The deal was revealed at a coming-out party for Digital Island in San Francisco Wednesday night. The company also was celebrating a successful $650 million secondary offering, which was over-subscribed, sources say.
