Say, Tuck, What do you mean, NEOT used to be "optionable"? There were never any options on NEOT that I know of. Maybe you were thinking of the warrants, NEOTW, that are still very much in play. In fact, they went up a huge amount on a percentage basis yesterday. I really liked that story on the conference at NEOT. Shows that they have enough confidence in the findings that they would share them with their natural rivals, the other researchers in the same field who are trying for the same thing. It opens new avenues of research for other scientists and potential alliances on other applications. It leads to validation of their treatment strategy and approach by others in the field. It indicates a new confidence that they must have in the extent of the coverage they have in their underlying patents. It also shows they are spreading the word through the scientific community and not the investment media. I only wish I had known about it in advance. You would think that NEOT would be swimming along with the others in the biotech current but up until the last couple of days it hasn't really participated. I'm glad the spotlight is back on the sector in general but I think NEOT has a lot of potential even without it. The upside for NEOT should be more because of the renewed interest in the sector. (I was in the sector the last time it was hot and it more than paid for a college education for my first born. This time the entire sector has even greater promise because of even more exciting drugs and an aging population who can use them. Good thing, because I have another one to put through it all again and it is going to be even more expensive.)
