Hi Lawrence,
I did go to Wastecon '96, but most everything there had to do with waste other than Organic waste, which of course is Thermo Tech's specialty.

Yes, I am still very much into Thermo Tech. I have backed off this thread quite a bit mainly because of the frustration and burnout I experienced while monitoring TTRIF on a daily basis for about a year. I used to talk to Lionnel quite a bit to get updates on the latest happenings, and as much as I enjoyed and appreciated talking to Lionnel (I believe he is quite sincere about the things he discusses), he was either wrong or was way too optimistic. This included discussions on expected earnings, Ashbridges Bay, Australian Joint Venture partners, Japanese Licensing, Enzyme Extraction, and the progress being made on new plants.

I don't know if you get the Bidding on Bay Street publications. As I am sure you have gathered from this thread, they monitor TTRIF and nearly wrote-off Thermo Tech for good a few months ago after experiencing the same kind of frustration many of us have. Laurel (the editor) now seems to be giving TTRIF another chance, but as she said in her latest progress report on Thermo Tech, the company is still in VERY EARLY stages as an emerging new technology provider. There is going to be alot of volatility in TTRIF for some time to come.

The biggest frustration most of us have experienced is the slug-like rate of progress this company seems to be making on all aspects of its operations. Much of this undoubtably has to do with funding (those are very expensive plants!), which makes me wonder what kind of financing arrangements, and stock dilution will take place, before Thermo Tech can really get things rolling.

Sorry that I seem so negative. I do still have much hope for TTRIF in the long run; it is such a great story, and the waste management industry is heading its way.

Best of Luck,
--Wayne--
