Papa John's Earns 0.20 in 1997 Q1, beating 0.19 consensus. Papa John's reports record first quarter 1997 revenues, earnings and restaurant openings. biz.yahoo.com ----- I'm adding to my position by 50% tomorrow morning. I'm encouraged by the strong comparable sales increases: 11.9% for corporate and 7.3% for franchise. The record number of restaurant openings confirms the success of PZZA's business concept. Furthermore, PZZA is only in 32 states so far. Current quote: bid 24 1/2, ask 25. I last bought at 32.75, I think. The timing was quite bad, but it shouldn't be much of a concern long-term (5+ years). Philip
