Aus, thanks for the link regarding new MP3 players using the postage stamp size SNDK MMC card. Music players, and later on books and video, all stored on these cards, are apt to be the killer application for consumers, more so than CF in digital cameras and computers. The postage stamp size memory has a real advantage over the Sony chewing gum stick in that anyone making a MMC device will be able to make it smaller than the Sony. In consumer devices, such as the Walkman, size is a very important selling point. Don't worry. Toshiba and Mitsubishi and other Sony competitors won't let consumers forget whose MP3 player is smaller, lighter, more convenient, storing more music, etc., etc.
