Now, BANKING, that's a sweet business. Definitely worthy of your efforts. Ever tried talking common sense into a banker's head ? How about that "two bit" brokerage that wants to pay the FDIC premium and use that logo for your money market accounts ?.......... But I am not a banker. I am programmer! and a smart one!! ......... Re. breaking up MSFT due to it's monopolistic position, govt does not break up monopolies - it only breaks up _abusive_ monopolies. Somehow you (and many more) don't seem to like it. But sour programmers don't make enough of a voting bloc so I am not too concerned, yet.......... Hey, if you are good, go build an Intuit. Or, WebTV.......
