I'm not comparing the ATHM's deal w/AOL's... Never liked AOL's concept anyhow: who in the world reads their content? You can get MUCH better stuff for free all over the web... how many times do you have to click the "no thanks" button on those annoying startup VISA ads? On the other hand I loved ATHM cable modem technology... Excite was a useless distraction... again, who wants Excite's content to show up everytime you go online?
