I think $200K is an average employee cost for many tech companies. This $200K cover salary, stock options, benefits (health/dental insurance etc), office cost (rent, computer, stationary, etc). Believe or not, employer needs spend $20k for each employee on office rent only. In North East (where I live), office building is about $20 s/f. For a 100 sf area, that's $2000 a month. I guess cost in CA for net company like VUSA could be even higher.

I think VUSA can cut their payroll to 35 - 50 people and still get their websites up and running just like they have 360 people now.
