How about an exogenous cause for a market fall? Mainland China is getting more belligerent with Taiwan. It would take far less than full-scale war to disrupt the Taiwanese fabs, and if they are disrupted it will impact the whole semi-conductor industry. So far, of course, the market is not reacting, which means that this threat is discounted deeply, but I am less sanguine about China's readiness to push on this issue, sooner or later. Just a thought. I'm not selling anything based on it!
