Richard, Toni,

Gee guys, how can you blame me for being so gun shy? I know we are looking at the "new" Cirrus but man, I am haunted by the past.

I really liked that chart but gosh, we are talking about Cirrus!

BTW, I did get in a little earlier last week ($17.5) so I am doing o.k. (I only bought 500 shares). I would really like to commit but I feel like the hopeless bachelor....I am just unable!

Back to serious stuff. I am now convinced that Cirrus is NOT in PS2. I base this on a couple of things. First, the LSI news release that someone posted a couple of days ago. Although I had heard that Sony doesn't let component suppliers announce this type of news prior to the actual launch of the product, there it was right in front of my eyes. Kind of knowing how French operates now, I just can't believe that he or anyone at Cirrus would have not announced this design win if it were really a fact.

Second, the early success of the PS2 (Sony's web site going down due to overwhelming order requests and the rave reviews it has garnered at the various places it has been shown) would lend to the notion that companies supplying Sony would be tooting their horns.

Call me pessimistic, but....IMHO.....Cirrus deserves pessimism....at least for now.
