John, I do appreciate your sense of humour. Sad to see TMO clinging to the conglomerate mentality when the rest of corporate America is going the road of a clear distinction of busines units & strategy formulation optimized for markets / technology. I do hope that funds will force them to divest into its pieces. This conglomerate dilusions of grandeur generally lead nowhere and they destroy shareholder value. Instead of spinning in they should spin out and profit handily as the biggest shareholder. Yes I'm disappointed but I'll keep my lamenting to this post. The TMO COLLECTIVE is not a place where I will put MY investment dollars. When a play doesn'T materialize nicely as I planned I move on and try it somewhere else... You are absolutely right with your "lesson about shareholder value". Instead of $50 I had to cash out at $14. GRRR. But thanx good TOC is not the only stock in town. The Nasdaq is full of goodies.. (CVCI, OSIS, LNOP etc.) regards CROSSY
