Yes, I unconditionally concede that there is much more to whether a stock is a good investment and whether it's share price will appreciate than eps etc. Most stocks performance, Particularly high tech stocks, seem to be only loosely coupled to their companies profit outlook but the fundamentals do ultimately underlie everything and from that perspective AMD is fundamentally attractive relative to other higher priced issues. (as long as it remains profitable) I think that is what Hmaly was trying to say.
