Fresh from the Cruttendon Roth Growth Stock conference where they presented yesterday afternoon, EBLD reported completion of a $10 million private placement. It will be utilized to "increase our content development efforts and to enlarge our capacity to provide our comprehensive encoding capabilities to a greater number of clients." The company also plans to utilize the funds raised in the private placement for strategic acquisitions. It also provides the company with enough assets to qualify for larger market listing. Also from the conference, EBLD reported that they are now playing over 3 million videos per month! Compare that to LAUN, which shows only 1.8 million, and you'll see why we like this stock so much. One of the revenue opportunities that EBLD is testing is to show short commercials before the video starts (as they have already with Arizona Jeans). This is a very well defined target audience, which is an advertiser's dream. Could be an investor's dream as well. Also received reports that the overal presentation went very well, with a Q&A session between CEO Stephen Brown and the investor audience going beyond the original time frame. W
