.. if the have something? you ask.

Well transceivers have a thermal noise problem on the receiverside. A high temperature superconductor (still 77øK or the temperatur of liquid nitrogen, or colder than any place on earth, but warm for a superconductor) drasticly reduces that thermal noise to nearly zero. So the reciever can utilize much smaller incoming signals to retrive information well understandibly. That way the base stations and the handies reach is much greater.

A factor ten, as conductus say is well in reach (distance or area?)

To make such system for cheap money is very, very good news for the wireless world.

My way to play it, is to buy Sawtek inc. (SAWS).

SAWS makes surface accoustic wave filters. Those filters go not in the big 19 inch rack base station, but in the handies. They are delcate to make, not commodities but high tech high margin producs. SAWS is good at that.

As SAWS got wipped fo Conductus news for a totally false reason, their big share price dip is a rare unique buying opportunity in this overpriced market. I bought SAWS at 80, I bought SAWS at 51.25 and when they dip further I shall buy more.

Once the community understands the news fully SAWS will roar back shortly. I rate SAWS an investment grade long term core tech hold as well until every human on earth uses a handy.
Many don't yet.
