02/24 3:09P (DJ) DJ Westell Tech To Unveil Wireless Products
AURORA, Ill. (Dow Jones)--Westell Technologies Inc. (WSTL) plans to
demonstrate a variety of wireless products at a New Orleans wireless
convention Feb. 28-March 1.
In a press release Thursday, Westell said the products include the SmartLink
automatic protection switch system, customer interface unit, MiniPak
environmental enclosure and the DS3 MegaJack line of network interface units
and repeaters.
The products are designed to monitor and provide the demarcation for
critical wireless networks.
Westell Technologies supplies fiber optic transmission equipment to
telecommunication companies.
The company's shares recently traded at 30 15/16, up 2 3/16, or 7.6%, on
Nasdaq volume of 2,064,600 shares. Average daily volume is 1,381,840.
