Canalaska Invests In WebDispatchers.Com

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--The Management of CanAlaska Ventures
Ltd. ("CanAlaska") is pleased to announce its agreement to earn a
strategic equity position in WebDispatchers.com, a Vancouver-based
company focused on providing innovative internet-based
productivity tools to the same-day delivery industry. This
industry is currently comprised of roughly 7,000
small-to-medium-sized courier companies and some 100,000 small
trucking companies across North America, with combined annual
revenues of US$82 billion. By establishing sufficient market
share, WebDispatchers.com will be well positioned to consolidate
this fragmented market and effectively provide a solution to "The
Last Mile" of eCommerce package delivery problems.

Tom Booth, CEO of WebDispatchers.com, said "To use our service,
same-day delivery companies need only a computer, a web browser
and an internet connection. Our transaction-based model has no
high up-front costs or maintenance fees, encouraging same-day
delivery companies to sign up and immediately achieve positive
results from the latest in internet-based productivity tools".

Under the terms of the agreement, by a staged $500,000 investment,
CanAlaska can earn up to a 40% interest in 591837 BC Ltd,
(operating as WebDispatchers.com). In addition, CanAlaska will
appoint two members to the WebDispatchers.com Board of Directors
and contribute management expertise during the start-up phase.

In conjunction with Vancouver-based Tantalus Communications Inc.
(www.tantalus.com), one of Oracle Corporation's top Canadian
third-party developers, WebDispatchers.com is completing an
easy-to-use web-based dispatch software suite of products for the
same-day delivery industry. The WebDispatchers.com suite of
products will utilize the latest in application service provider
(ASP) concepts resulting in a service that will be dramatically
more cost-effective and easier to implement than currently
available designs. The Oracle technology platform will ensure the
ability to scale up to support a large user base, and provide the
potential for co-marketing opportunities with Oracle Corporation.

"The big benefit to our business will be the improved dispatcher
efficiency" said Tom Delahooke, President of VIP Courier Corp., a
twenty-five year old company servicing metropolitan Vancouver's
same-day delivery market. "A dispatcher is like an air traffic
controller. Presenting information in an easy to read graphical
display will make their job easier and result in improved
utilization of our fleet. A great bonus will be the ability for
our customers to order and track trips over the Internet. The
transaction-based pricing will quickly justify costs and see
bottom line results".

In conjunction with its Advisory Board, CanAlaska Management is
currently conducting due diligence on further acquisitions of
interests in Information Technology, Internet, and eCommerce
companies with strong growth potential. For further information on
