Rsklar:

Here's what I like about NQL:
----------------------------

1) Very easy to use. Even non-programmers can use it.
2) Fast development. I created several agents in one afternoon.
3) XML support for Input and Output.
4) Ability to embed NQL agents in a variety of software projects. Ex C++, java, VB, VBscript and ASP...
5) It works now. I have not found any bugs in the Beta.
6) NQL also works in standalone mode.
7) The browser recorder is amazing. Nothing can match it that I've seen.

But most of all Internet Agents/NQL is a huge time saver
for individuals and corporations.

Ex: I'm in the process of setting up my own Web Portal driven by NQL. This portal when completed will save me several hours a week of research on the Web.
My Portal will automatically search, find and extract information from a wide range of sources.
Keep in mind that I'm not a software engineer by trade.
I've done a bit of coding in html, javascript but thats
it.
I did a demo of NQL to some of our programmers at work and
they were very impressed. We came up with several areas
that NQL could help our company/projects today. Once released we
will buy several Developper licences.

Some concerns:
-------------

Pricing - I feel that this product has mass appeal and
a reasonable license fee will expand the market quickly.

Marketing/Promotion - I hope that Alphaserv has the resources and stradegy to effectively launch the product
globally.

Cross platform support - I would like to see a version for Linux and possibly other OS's.

I'm accumulating ALMI on the future potential of NQL.

I'm not a daytrader so short term fluctuations is not a concern to me.

Internet Agents(Bots) will be widely deployed one day
once the masses realize the time saving benefits of Agents.

I've been looking for years for a tool to automate some of
the tasks I do on the Web. NQL is a tool that allows me to
do this without a steep learning curve.

I tried Rebol but found the learning curve very steep for
a non software engineer like me.

I work for a Hi-Tech company in Canada.
