Recapping - 3G will be held up by bickering over standards+IPR and network operator inertia. Dont know about Europe....but dont you think that NTT Docomo will force W-CDMA deployment? They were already having capacity issues prior to their deployment of i-mode. I believe they NTT just announced that ALL cellphones sold after June will be i-mode. The transition of DDI to 1xrtt will only worsen the situtation for them. Slacker
