That is why I like the idea of a new and better technology GUI. I know it can be done but it needs doing. I don't like a lack of speed. That is why they built MS Windows in machine code or so it is said. Well a few mistake were made and things crash a bit but Berlin's solution of using a CORBA layer to ease code migration is perhaps not the way to guarantee usability and speed either.

If we can convince the money that people in general don't have to invest :) then we can get this thing on the map so programs that want less Windowing complexity, lower bandwidth and more graphical capability can be ported and writ.

Udderwise we is in X window hell forevah.
