taxman, re: home sales over the internet...

Hi Taxman,

Thanx for your response.

I too share this promise, brokerless home sales. I totally agree the area is ripe. A video of the home, surrounding area, schools; police activity in the area, political atmosophere, census data. The agent no longer has to be present to show you the home and answer all your home- just a warm body to open the door when you actually want to see the place, and as you cross the threshold data is automatically pulled into your wireless handset for your review.

An entire industry awaits.

This latest Microsoft software seems to be reinforcing the agent-customer relationship which is just the opposite of the example above. Their software seems to address Real Estate office automation.

What is really needed to get the self-service bandwagon moving- a way for me to see all the homes that are for sale and the agents with their e-mail address and/or phone number.

Just my opinion.

Jon :)
