Would anybody like Borland to be bought by Sybase instead of Corel? They would have a killer product line-up of PowerBuilder, Delphi, BC++B, along with some of the other great Powersoft development/design tools, and of course one of the best database engines (even though they don't have the market share Oracle has). On the other hand, I admit there would be overlap with the app and database servers but lets face it, Borland's strengths are its two flagships: Delphi and BC++B.

I would be a very happy camper to see Sybase and Borland get married but of course this is unlikely now.

cheers,
Kiriakos
